"Tae Kwon Do. Not just an art, it's a way of life." Tae Kwon Do is a traditional martial art that has been a part of korean culture for thousands of years, not just a sport. Unlike traditional sports which focus mainly on the physical aspects of performance, our style of Tae Kwon Do brings back the traditionals styles and teaching of traditional Korean Tae Kwon Do, placing the focus on mental and inner strength. Tae Kwon Do is teaching power along with responsibility, teaching discipline, self respect and the respect of others. In training Tae Kwon Do students, White Tiger hopes students will go on to becoming great men and women.
White Tiger History
White Tiger Martial Arts Center officially opened its doors on January 26th in 2006. Led by Head Master Shik Lee and other fellow Tae Kwon Do masters, in just under two years White Tiger has grown to over two hundred students and offers four different programs. Aside from Martial Arts, White Tiger also offers a Stranger Danger program where instructors and students go to libraries and schools to teach children the importance of self defense and educate them on dangerous situations. At White Tiger our focus is not only to train students in the martial arts but to enrich them and educate them into becoming better people.
